Den här perioden från det att man får ett negativt besked till att man har en beskrivning av hur man går vidare är alltid så hemsk.

Men nu har jag fått besked att man kör igång min cytostatikakur redan idag (den kommer banka ner alla mina blodvärden riktigt ner i botten den här gången). Och sen har jag möte med min överläkare nästa vecka för att diskutera framtiden. Så fram till dess kan jag hålla mig lugn i alla fall.

After getting a confirmation (or sort of) that the cancer has started growing again, and this time only 3-4 weeks after the last chemo therapy. The implication of that is that the last chemo was not sufficient and not the right mix of chemo that is needed to push the cancer back and keep it back for at least 2 months or so. This is needed to be able to restart the transplant.

However, the latest news is that I will start a new chemo today (modified version of the last one). And I will also be able to see Tims football game on saturday. My bloodcount is a bit lower than last time I had chemo, so they will go down both quicker and further, and maybe for a longer time. Anyways, I will meet my doctor next week to discuss the future. So I guess I can keep calm until then.
