Nya nålar igen. Återigen fick jag åka ner till intensivvårdsavdelningen där nålstickar experterna tydligen härbärgeras.Cellgifterna retar blodådrorna, så efter en dags omgång så gör det ont i dem och en ny nål måste sättas. Det harblivit några nålstick de senaste veckorna, och nya ställen att sticka på börjar ta slut. Följdaktligen fick jag nuden senaste nålen i foten. Måtte den bara hålla imorgon också.

"Mode-bloggen"
Sjukhuskläder. Kom att inse att dessa är nära nog perfekt designade för sitt ändamål. Jag antar att kriterierna försjukhuskläder är att de ska passa alla, de ska vara sköna och mjuka. Och dessutom ska de trots att det är bekväma inte vara stöldbegärliga. Jag tycker man har lyckats storartat.

Allså, kalsonger, storlek 80-110 kg (medium?), när helt uppdragna ligger den tunna resåren strax under armhålan. Skjorta storlek S (alltså 'S' för stor, 'L' för liten, bara det).Nu vet jag inte riktigt hur man definierar en skjorta,men en sjukhusskjorta slutar vid knäna, saknar krage och sitter som ett mjukt skynke över kroppen. Byxorna liknar tränings-overallsbyxor (från 60-talet), och matchar i sin passform kalsongerna perfekt, dvs de går att dra upp till armhålorna.Till den här grundmunderingen finns sedan ett otal chicka tillbehör som t.ex. sockeplast eller stödstrumpa. Skulle man sen vilja lätta upp stämningen ännu mer så finns det ju även klänningar, som jag dock inte provat ännu.

New needles. Yet again I had to go the intensive care unit where the needle experts live. I have had so many needles thelast couple of weeks, so it is getting almost impossible to find new places to put them. And as the chemo is so toxic,my veins hurt after every session. I finally got my new needle in my foot, I just hope that it will do the job tomorrowas well when I get the last chemo for this time.

Hospital ClothesI have discovered that the clothes you can borrow in a hospital is actually perfecly design for its purpose. I guess theoverall design criteria for hospital clothing (for patients that is), is that they should fit all sizes, be comfortableand despite that, people should not be tempted to steal them. I think they have succeeded very well.
So, underpants, size 80-110 kgs (medium?), when you pull them up, the lining ends nicely just under your armpit. Shirt,size large. I do not what the formal definition of a shirt is, but a hospital shirt is something that ends below yourknees, no collar, and the rest is just a large piece of soft cotton that covers you. Trousers, looks more like somejogging trousers from the late 60s, and fits perfectly on top of the underpants, ie you can pull them up to the armpitsas well. To this basic outfit, there are then a number of differen items that can be used to perfect the outfit, suchas non-slip socks (sockeplast must be a swedish invention I guess), supportive socks and stockings. And of course, ifyou want to be somewhat more daring, you can always try on the dresses (I have not yet done that even if it would bequite fun to see the reactions).
